Report Viewer Control not displaying data when deployed IIS7

This issue sometimes happens when you deploy a web application that contains report files on IIS7.
The reports work fine in the development environment, but once published nothing appears in the results.

Fixing the tp_Title field reverting to Membership Provider username

If you are using Forms Based Authentication for you SharePoint site you might encounter the site displaying a user name such as “i:0#.f|sql-membershipprovider|username” instead of just “username”.

FBA and Friendly Display Name with SharePoint 2010 and MOSS 2007

When implementing Forms Based Authentication (FBA), SharePoint retrieves the tp_title field from the UserInfo table in the WSS_Content* database to display the name of logged in user.

My name is Aric Levin, and I have been a technology evangelist for over 20 years. I am an expert in the areas of Software Development and Architecture, and over the past 13 years, my focus has been on Microsoft Dynamics CRM/365.

I graduated in 2004 with a degree in Computer Science, while working full time in various technology related position. In 2005, while working as Chief Technologist for a Marketing Company, I was introduced to Dynamics CRM (version 3), and soon after started working with Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

In 2007 I started doing consulting work for various companies and government agencies, and changed my focus to working with Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
