The new developer experience for Microsoft Power Apps

This week at Ignite 2025, Microsoft introduced the next generation of Microsoft Power Apps. This means the introduction of a new experience that makes building apps as intuitive as explaining an idea, and a seamless integration between apps and agents. It also allows the ability to host and manage all of the apps in a single place.

This new developer experience is now available at vibe.powerapps.com, a new interface for building apps with speed and easiness. Makers can now collaborate with a team of other agents that work together to gather requirements, set up the data structure create a full stack reach application in a matter of minutes.

During the planning phase shown below, the user will enter their requirements of what they are trying to implement and what the app should do, define the personas and the Requirements Agent will show the functionality that each role is supposed to have.

The data agent will then go ahead and create the underlying data model based on the requirements and it’s understanding. You can always continue and enhance your prompt and communicate with the agent(s) to make additional changes until everything looks correct.

Finally the Code Agent will start working on generating the code for your application. You will be able to toggle between Preview mode and code mode and ask for changes to the interface based on your requirements.

Take a look at the demonstration below of the new Power Apps experience, or try it for yourself at vibe.powerapps.com.
